There is nothing like the Red Centre, often referred to as the heart of Australia with its red land, blue skies and open space. It appears to be a harsh environment, but the Aboriginals have survived out here for years. And just imagine the early explorers traveling through here on camels not knowing where the next waterhole was going to be. You don’t have to worry about that now, just sit back and enjoy. The seasons here are very different to that of Top End. Between Jun-Aug, our winter months, night time temperatures can plummet to below freezing and in the summer months the desert lives up to its name when day time temperatures soar. But just like in the Top End if you come prepared you’ll be rewarded with once in a lifetime experiences like exquisite sun rises or sun sets and spectacular scenery.
